Welcome to the virtual symposium! Your graphic led me to look up Candida Royale, the sex-positive feminist and porn filmmaker who was in the 1977 film you mention... found that she died earlier this month, alas...

Writing can help us focus our needs and our desires... it sounds as though this topic gave you food for thought beyond this post itself... please let us know as you continue to explore these thoughts.

And above all, thank you for your contribution!

Stop in, read, and offer comments at my "swinging as seen in the media" blog, "Confessions of a Lifestyle Man" humorlife, which is also the home of the monthly virtual symposium. New post: The Virtual Symposium Returns Lets Pick A Topic

I was really into erotica several years ago. I can see the fascination with immersing yourself into a good read as a form of fantasy and escape from a life less exciting.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this topic.

I read voraciously for fifty years, and used every dinner break to read, every spare moment to pick up a book. I thought I would read nearly non-stop when I retired and I do, but most of what I read is online. I think I still made time to live though.

My wife tells a story about her grandmother. She had taken to wearing a full corset to bed at night, and my wife asked why- it looked very uncomfortable. She said "PD, sex is a beautiful thing, but enough is enough!"

A most excellent interpretaion of this months topic!

I'm with you, but some hidden personalities have escaped and are running loose all over BlogLand!

Is this just another trick by keithcancook
to get his text on television?
